Announcing New Office Space for My Practice

I’m so pleased to announce I have a new office space at the 26 Court building at Burrough Hall in Brooklyn. And am now available to meet young people and adults in person or virtually. Reach out if you would like to explore how combining somatic practices with expressive arts can be an empowering pathway for much-needed self and community care.

Just by way of introduction once again, I’m a somatic arts consultant who uses embodied and expressive arts as a tool for building more capacity with emotional regulation, attention, focus, executive function, and self-confidence, anxiety, depression, grief, and recovery. I bring to my healing arts practice several decades of classroom and professional development experience with educators. I currently work with therapists, caregivers, teachers, and artists of all kinds to explore how to integrate somatic practices into their personal and professional practice. I also work with adolescents struggling with mental health issues or loneliness. I have an MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago as well as certification in contemplative psychology, yoga, meditation, and expressive arts therapy. I use meditation, movement, and expressive arts to build relational trust, healthy pride, focus, voice, creative expression, and a more robust sense of self
